Charitable Giving

Charities

The Camp has donated over $30,000, filled a van with canned goods, and that doesn’t even include the money donated directly to charity from attendees at the event! The charities below were beneficiaries of past events.

Camp Cares

The Camp is so excited to announce Camp Cares. Camp Cares is a gathering thats purpose is to assist the helpless and disadvantaged. After speaking with many attendees and celebrity guests, our fanmily wants take our mission even further than just a donation, we want to gather as a community to assist the Atlanta Homeless Population.

Our Fanmily is headed to Atlanta May 25, 2023 where we will reach out to the homeless community providing them with resources, haircuts, personal hygiene items, food, clothing, and shelter. We would love for you to get involved with this mission. We welcome donations of personal hygiene items, canned food, clothing items, or anything that can assist the helpless and disadvantaged. Even if you dont have the means to donate on site we are looking for volunteers to contact local businesses and resources to make the first Camp Cares happen.

We’ve created a group called “Camp Cares” where all planning will happen, please join this group if you would like to participate.

Veterans K9 Solutions

The Camp 2021 and 2022’s beneficiary was Veterans K9 Solutions Inc., we got to donate over $19,000 during the two events! They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit & GuideStar Platinum Participant organization founded by Master Dog Trainers Jerry & Jay Lyda in 2011 to help veterans from pre & post 911 eras. They provide a structured & safe program where they pair a rescued or donated dog with a veteran all while helping them to gain the confidence they need to confidently & proudly integrate back into the world that is waiting for them.

The unique concept & motto of Veterans K9 Solutions, Inc. is: by saving a shelter dog you can save a veteran and by giving back to those in need you are saving two lives at the same time. Be sure to visit their website veteransk9solutions.org to learn more!

i58 Mission

The I-58 Mission, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) service agency formed to partner with the community to answer the call of Isaiah 58 to set the oppressed free, share food, provide shelter, and clothe those in need. You can also participate by donating items such as household goods, appliances, furniture, clothing, and food. Those items are given to people who are in a difficult place in life. We want to help meet the short-term physical needs of those living in painful circumstances through an on-going relationship in a loving community.

S.A.A.G. (Southern Animal Alliance Group)

S.A.A.G. is now the focus project of Pedal For Pets, a 501c3 that was started 8 years ago, By Wendy Maguire, with a plan to raise money and stop the needless killing of innocent lives in overcrowded shelters. Spay/neuter seemed to be the best avenue to achieve this and, they have made great headway. In 2016, they had a Pedal for Pets, 8 people, the all-woman team participated in the RAAM Race, Race Across America. Since 2010, Pedal for Pets has raised over $150,000.00, helped over 3000 animals, and has provided in excess of 4 tons of pet food for shelters and pet food banks in Georgia. Their goal is to connect the dots and create a “one-stop-shop” for animals and rescuers in need by connecting all the amazing people, groups, shelters, and rescues who work tirelessly to help the souls with no voice. Their goal is to be able to reach and give needed dollars to each and every one of these groups who value each and every animal life that they learn of or that come to them. Please join their mission as they join forces throughout the South and eventually the Nation. Here is their mission statement: Southern Animal Alliance Group, S.A.A.G., is dedicated to the holistic approach of promoting Animal Welfare and Responsible Pet Ownership by providing Education, Services, and Resources through Community Collaboration. During our event, we will have a collection area where you can donate food, animal beds, toys, or any and all pet-related items as well as monetary donations.
