What time do panels start each day?

  • jake

Panels run continuously across the event’s operating hours each day rather than following a fixed separate start time — check the day’s posted schedule for the specific lineup and times. Since the panel roster changes from event to event, the schedule is the most reliable source for exact timing.

What’s a “Couch Chat” panel format like compared to a regular Q&A?

  • jake

Based on the 2026 panel schedule, “Couch Chat” was an informal, interview and hangout-style session — billed as “Couch Chat with Cooper Andrews, featuring Cooper Andrews and surprise friends” — rather than a structured, moderated Q&A format. It leaned more conversational than a typical panel Q&A.

Will there be a Hilltop-style ensemble panel again in 2027?

  • jake

There’s always a chance a Hilltop-style ensemble panel returns, since it’s been part of past Camps, but nothing is confirmed for 2027 yet. Panel programming is finalized closer to the event, so watch for the official schedule announcement.

Is there a Twilight-specific panel planned?

  • jake

There’s always a chance a Twilight-specific panel returns, given that Twilight guests have appeared at past Camps, but nothing is locked in for a future event yet. The panel lineup is confirmed later in the planning process.

Will there be a dedicated FROM panel again?

  • jake

There’s always a chance a dedicated FROM panel comes back, since it’s been part of recent Camp programming, but nothing is confirmed for a specific future event yet. Panel details are typically announced closer to the event date.

Can I request a specific actor be invited?

  • jake

Yes — you can email contact@thecampevents.com to request that a specific actor be invited to a future event. There’s no guarantee the request will result in a booking, but the team does take these requests into account when building out future lineups.

Are there ever surprise, unannounced guest appearances?

  • jake

Yes, surprise appearances happen fairly often at The Camp. Typically these guests come simply to hang out rather than sit behind a formal table, so you genuinely never know who you might run into over the course of a weekend.

How is the guest lineup different from Scream City Horror Con?

  • jake

The two events lean in different directions: The Camp is primarily a Walking Dead event with a handful of other shows mixed in, while Scream City Horror Con was a broader horror convention pulling guests from all kinds of different shows and movies rather than centering on one franchise.

Will there be any non-Walking Dead genre guests this year?

  • jake

The 2027 guest list is still listed as “Coming Soon” as of this review, so it’s not yet possible to say which non-Walking Dead genre guests, if any, will be part of the lineup. This answer should be updated once the official guest announcements begin.

Do guests do meet-and-greets outside of their scheduled table time?

  • jake

There’s always a chance a guest stops by outside their scheduled table time, since impromptu hangouts happen fairly regularly at The Camp. It’s not something you can count on for any specific guest, but it’s part of what makes the weekend feel less formal than a typical convention.
