Are any directors or writers attending, not just actors?

  • jake

There’s always a chance directors and writers join the lineup alongside actors — The Camp has hosted both Greg Nicotero and Scott M. Gimple in 2026 and 2027. Whether that repeats for a specific future event depends on who’s confirmed in that year’s guest announcements.

How far in advance do guests usually get locked in?

  • jake

Guest announcements for the May event typically begin in the fall of the preceding year. That gives fans several months of lead time between the first names being revealed and the event itself.

Is the Governor (David Morrissey) likely to return?

  • jake

There’s always a chance David Morrissey (The Governor) returns to a future Camp, given his history with the event, but nothing is locked in until an official announcement names him for a specific date. Keep an eye on the guest reveal announcements as the event approaches.

Will Chandler Riggs be back after his past appearances?

  • jake

There’s always a chance Chandler Riggs returns given his past appearances at The Camp, he will be in attendance at The Camp 2027. His history with the event makes a return plausible every year, just not guaranteed.

Do I buy autograph tickets in advance or at the table?

  • jake

Autographs and selfies are purchased directly at the celebrity’s table rather than in advance. Photo ops work differently — those are either pre-sold online or available to purchase at the event — and special events are pre-purchased ahead of time and often sell out before the event even starts.

Are there restrictions on what can be signed?

  • jake

Yes, restrictions exist, but they’re set by the individual guest rather than by The Camp — each celebrity decides for themselves what they will and won’t sign. If a guest declines to sign the item you brought, they’ll typically provide you with an 8×10 photo instead so you still walk away with something signed.

Do autograph lines get capped each day?

  • jake

Yes, autograph lines can get capped on a given day, most often when the actor has a scheduled panel or special event coming up that they need to get to. Capping the line protects both the guest’s schedule and the experience of the people already waiting.

What if a guest’s line is too long by the time I get there?

  • jake

If a line is too long when you arrive, your best options are to check back later once it thins out or simply commit to waiting it out. Lines at The Camp tend to fluctuate throughout the day rather than staying uniformly long.

Are autograph prices the same for every guest?

  • jake

No, autograph prices aren’t standardized across guests — each celebrity and their management sets their own specific pricing. The Camp doesn’t set these prices itself and often doesn’t even know what a given guest will charge until the event is underway.

Do iVIP holders skip the regular autograph line entirely?

  • jake

There are three tiers of line speed rather than a single line for everyone: General Admission is typically the longest and slowest, the VIP line is shorter and moves quicker, and iVIP+ Concierge ticket holders carry coupons that let them skip the autograph line entirely.
