When does the final payment plan installment need to be completed by?

  • jake

All payment plans have to be fully paid off at least 30 days before the event — there’s no flexibility to carry a balance closer to the weekend than that. Build your installment schedule with that 30-day cutoff in mind when you first set up the plan.

Can I switch which card is charged mid-plan?

  • jake

Yes, you have two ways to update the card on a payment plan: email contact@thecampevents.com for a link to update it, or log into tickets.thecampevents.com/account and change it yourself. The self-service option through your account is generally the faster of the two.

What happens to my payment plan progress if I need to cancel?

  • jake

Payments already made toward a payment plan are non-refundable if you need to cancel, since all Camp payments are treated as non-refundable by default. The one way to protect yourself against this is purchasing the optional protection plan at checkout, which allows a refund up until 30 days before the event.

What’s the transfer fee, and who pays it?

  • jake

There’s a flat $50 transfer fee applied to every ticket transfer, and that fee is the responsibility of whoever is initiating the transfer request. Factor that $50 into your decision if you’re weighing whether to transfer a ticket versus simply not using it.

Can I transfer just one ticket out of a Double/Triple package?

  • jake

A single ticket can’t be pulled out of a Double or Triple package and formally transferred on The Camp’s end. Instead, the workaround is to pick up the full package at Will Call as planned and hand the extra ticket to your friend in person once you’re both there.

Is there a deadline for requesting a transfer?

  • jake

All ticket transfers need to be submitted and completed no later than 30 days before the event — after that window closes, the transfer option is no longer available. Plan any transfer well ahead of the deadline rather than waiting until the last minute.

What happens to my hotel room if I transfer my iVIP ticket?

  • jake

Each iVIP package comes with exactly one hotel room attached to it, and that stays true even after a ticket transfer — what you do with that room afterward is entirely up to you and the person you transferred to. The Camp doesn’t reassign or split the room based on the transfer itself.

Does The Camp verify resold tickets at the door?

  • jake

Yes, tickets are checked and verified at the door, including any that were resold rather than transferred through official channels. That verification step is part of why resale outside The Camp’s own transfer process carries real risk for both buyer and seller.

Do I get a credit toward next year if the event is canceled?

  • jake

The Camp doesn’t typically cancel events, so credit-toward-next-year situations are rare in practice. The only cancellations to date were due to COVID-19, and in that case every ticket holder was offered a full refund within 24 hours of the cancellation notice rather than a credit toward a future event.

Who do I email to start a transfer request?

  • jake

Ticket transfer requests go to contact@thecampevents.com — that’s the address the Inclusive VIP FAQ names specifically for handling transfers. Starting the process by email there is the fastest way to get a transfer moving before the 30-day deadline.
