Alanna Masterson
Alanna Masterson played Tara Chambler, who was introduced in Season 4, promoted to series regular in Season 5 and added to the main cast in Season 7, appearing in 61 episodes between 2013 and 2022.
Born June 27, 1988, in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, Alanna grew up surrounded by acting: her brother Jordan Masterson and half-brothers Danny and Christopher Masterson all work in the industry. Outside of The Walking Dead, she played Lydia on Mistresses and Kiara Johnson on Younger. She has also moved into directing, and her short film debut premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.
