Scott Schwartz

Scott Schwartz was not part of The Walking Dead cast, but he is a holiday-classic favorite as Flick, the boy who gets his tongue stuck to a frozen flagpole in A Christmas Story (1983). He reprised the role nearly 40 years later in A Christmas Story Christmas (2022).

Born May 12, 1968, and raised in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, Scott was a child actor in the 1980s, appearing in The Toy opposite Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason, Kidco and A Time to Live. He later became involved in sports trading cards and served as president of A Minor Consideration, a child actors’ advocacy group.
