Angel Theory

Angel Theory played Kelly, Connie’s sister, across 34 episodes of The Walking Dead from 2018 to 2022. Showrunner Angela Kang has said the team was so compelled by Angel that they cast her as Kelly instead of the part she originally auditioned for.

Born May 19, 1999, in Far Rockaway, Queens, Angel trained as a dancer at Broadway Dance Center, EXPG Studios and Peridance before turning to acting and choreography. She began experiencing progressive hearing loss at age 14, and her own experience was written into Kelly’s storyline with her consent. Angel advocates for authentic representation of deaf and hard-of-hearing performers. She also played Olivia on Kinderfanger, where she is an executive producer, and appeared as a Deaf Dorm Dancer on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
